As an intellectual property law firm that counsels clients from the Fortune 500 to universities and entrepreneurs, Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP is pleased to sponsor the second annual Innovation Showcase at the University of Chicago, which brings together more than 400 students faculty and staff from across the university, as well as locally and nationally known venture capitalists, entrepreneurs and media, for an interactive celebration of entrepreneurship, innovation and collaboration. The 2013 Showcase features start-ups and innovative projects being developed at the University of Chicago, including ventures competing in the Edward L. Kaplan, ‘71, New Venture Challenge (NVC), as well as the Social NVC and the UChicago Mobile App Challenge.

The Innovation Showcase is held in conjunction with the Edward L. Kaplan ’71, New Venture Challenge (NVC), the premier business launch program at the University of Chicago, helping students turn entrepreneurial ideas into viable businesses. Winners of the NVC, as well as the Social NVC and the UChicago Mobile App Challenge, will be announced at the showcase.
