Practising Law Institute’s 2010 Patent Litigation Conference

October 14, 2010

Paul B. Stephens will be speaking at the Practising Law Institute’s 2010 Patent Litigation Conference on October 14–15 in Chicago. Stephens’s program is entitled “Parallel Patent Reexaminations” and analyzes the strategic considerations of whether or not to seek reexaminations of patents, as well as the effects of reexamination on litigation.

“In a world with rapid flows of information and fast-paced changes and even quicker decision-making, it’s essential to recognize the changing face of patent law in order to successfully litigate on behalf of clients,” said Stephens. “I am honored to present at the Patent Litigation conference and assist all patent attorneys with new topics and analyses that affect our everyday practice.”

Paul B. Stephens focuses his practice on patent prosecution and intellectual property litigation with an emphasis on the computer and electrical arts. His prosecution practice has particular focus in communications and applied physics applications, assisting clients in the full range of patent law, including counseling, prosecution, opinions and litigation.

The Practising Law Institute (PLI) is a non-profit continuing legal education organization that orchestrates an annual conference in six U.S. cities and via webcast each year. For more information and an overview of the PLI seminar, visit the conference webpage.
