Jeremy R. Kriegel Volunteers For The Chicago Committee LegalTrek Program

July 1, 2010

Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP continues its active involvement with the Chicago Committee on Minorities in Large Law Firms (Chicago Committee) with Partner Jeremy R. Kriegel volunteering his time as a “coach” at the annual Chicago LegalTrek Contract Negotiation Workshop held at Northwestern University Law School. Mr. Kriegel coaches two teams of paired college students through a mock negotiation of a sale of high-tech goods.

Chicago LegalTrek’s mission is to diversify the legal profession by encouraging and supporting college students from historically underrepresented groups to attend law school. The Director of Chicago LegalTrek, Professor Sheila Maloney, Assistant Director for the Program on Negotiation and Mediation at Northwestern University School of Law, collaborated with the Chicago Committee to develop this pipeline program. Marshall, Gerstein & Borun attorneys also volunteer in the Chicago Committee’s mentoring, associate training and networking programs for women and minority law students and lawyers new to the practice of law.
