Julianne Hartzell to Present at LESI’s 1st Pan-American YMC Event

IP Litigation Partner Julianne M. Hartzell will participate in the panel, “Discussion of US and Canada Trade Secret Protection and the recent EU Directive for the Protection of Trade Secrets,” at the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI)’s 1st Pan-American YMC (Young Members Congress) Event. The event will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015, at TechNexus (20 N. Upper Wacker Drive, Suite 1200) in Chicago. Ms. Hartzell will discuss trade secret protection in the USA, from an external counsel perspective.

Ms. Hartzell will be joined on the panel by:

  • Maitreya Jani, Senior Counsel – Patents, Fortune Brands Home & Security, Inc.

At Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP, Ms. Hartzell works with inventors and corporations in the fields of consumer products, medical devices, pharmaceuticals and internet technology. She handles all forms of intellectual property litigation, including patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret litigation. She also has experience enforcing covenants not-to-compete and confidentiality agreements. Ms. Hartzell obtained her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, and previously earned a B.S. in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.
