USPTO revises MPEP in view of KSROctober 2007The "Manual of Patent Examining Procedure" (MPEP) Chapters 700 and 2100 have been revised to incorporate the examination guidelines for determining obviousness under 35 U.S.C. § 103 in view of the Supreme Court decision in KSR International Co. v. Teleflex Inc. Also, MPEP Chapter 1800 has been revised to incorporate the amendments made to the Regulations under the PCT that took effect on April 1, 2007.
