Firm Partner Pamela Cox is speaking at the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) Annual Meeting, March 8 – 11, 2007 at the San Francisco Marriott in San Francisco, CA.  The AUTM Annual Meeting is a three-day educational conference that typically draws more than 1,800 members of the global technology transfer community.

Ms. Cox will be moderating and speaking at a session entitled “Managing Conflicts of Interest in Licensing.”  The session will be held on Thursday, March 8 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  This session will explore the potential conflicts of interest inherent in university licensing. Presenters will discuss sources of potential conflict, factors that increase the likelihood of actual conflict and effective conflict-management strategies.
