In conjunction with the Association of University Technology Managers, Special Interest Group on MTAs, Marshall, Gerstein & Borun recently hosted a two-day MCLE seminar on "The Negotiation of Material Transfer Agreements."  Experts from industry and universities met to discuss issues arising from the transfer of materials. Organized by Mary Donnelly, attorney for Loyola University of Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine, and Pamela Cox, partner at MGB, the interactive format facilitated by moderators from industry and universities made for a productive two-days.  A white paper describing the findings is in process.
