Dr. Rin-Laures Recognized in the 2013 Women Worth Watching Edition of Profiles in Diversity Journal

Her unique insider’s perspective as a former General Counsel of a biotechnology company, technical expertise, and wide-ranging industry knowledge acquired from managing global patent portfolios for numerous FDA-approved drugs enable her to be a valuable strategic partner to clients.
Dr. Rin-Laures is personally committed to diversity and the advancement of women in her profession, as well as in the life science industry. She is a founding member of the Firm’s Committee on Diversity and Inclusion and was recognized as a 2012 Leading Law Firm Rainmaker in the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA)’s Diversity & The Bar. Dr. Rin-Laures co-founded and was the first president of the Chicago Chapter of Women In Bio (WIB), a nationally recognized non-profit organization committed to bringing women in the life science industry together. She is also a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, has been active on the committee for the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law Firms and is a mentor for Menttium, a mentoring organization that supports leadership development and diversity.
