Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP achieved recognition as having a nationally ranked Bio Life Sciences intellectual property law practice in a recent survey published by Managing Intellectual Property. Marshall Gerstein was the sole Midwestern law firm dedicated to intellectual property with a national ranking in Bio Life Sciences in the survey, conducted by independent researchers to avoid bias. The unique status of the Marshall, Gerstein & Borun biotech group in the Midwest region reflects the collegial, team-oriented approach of a stable group of 18 experienced practitioners. Over 77% of Marshall Gerstein's biotech group have advanced degrees, and 56% have been practicing at the firm for ten years or more. The diverse practice group is 56% female and 17% ethnic minorities.
