Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP is a proud sponsor of the Women’s Bar Foundation Annual Scholarship Reception. During the event, the Women’s Bar Foundation will honor its 2012 scholarship award recipients. The reception will be held from 5:30–7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 4 at the Standard Club Grand Ballroom in Chicago.

Partner Maureen Beacom Gorman is a current director of the Women’s Bar Foundation. The Foundation, established in 1966, provides scholarships, awards or other financial aid to deserving and qualified women for the study of law in accredited Illinois law schools.

In her practice, Ms. Gorman works directly with clients to prosecute, secure and enforce their copyrights and trademarks. Her invaluable familiarity with the inside workings of the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a former trademark examining attorney offers a balanced perspective to better counsel clients in trademark prosecution, enforcement, litigation and licensing in the United States and internationally.
