MGB Grows its Ranks with Prestigious Leading Lawyers Recognition

October 14, 2009

Two Marshall, Gerstein & Borun attorneys, Pamela L. Cox and Li-Hsien Rin-Laures, have earned the distinction of being named Leading Lawyers by the Leading Lawyer Network, a merit that fewer than five percent of all Illinois licensed lawyers obtain.

Being added to the ranks of Leading Lawyers is a coveted honor because lawyers cannot nominate themselves or be nominated by anyone in their own firm. The list of Leading Lawyers is the result of thousands of communications with Illinois lawyers asking them which of their peers they believe comprise the top lawyers. Only those lawyers who are most often recommended and have been approved by an advisory board qualify as Leading Lawyers.

About the Marshall, Gerstein & Borun attorneys:

Pamela L. Cox is a partner and practice group manager of intellectual property transactions, concentrates on the strategy, structure and negotiation of agreements and provides counsel on technology transfer issues for a wide range of clients from non-profit institutions to multinational companies.

Li-Hsien Rin-Laures has managed global patent portfolios for a number of FDA-approved drugs. A major portion of her practice involves strategy relating to pharmaceutical products, product life cycles, and the intersection of patents and FDA regulations.
