Ms. Gorman developed extensive experience while working as a trademark examining attorney in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is experienced in opposition and cancellation matters, TTAB ex parte appeals, copyright prosecution and enforcement, cybersquatting, anti-counterfeiting, infringement and unfair competition. She has also counseled on prosecution of brand names and enforcement issues in more than 100 countries worldwide and with respect to goods and services in nearly every International Class. Her client experience includes pharmaceuticals and dietary supplements, media, software, retail and consumer goods, restaurants and hotels, religious and educational organizations, and advertising.
In 2014, Ms. Gorman was recognized by the World Trademark Review (WTR) in the WTR 1000 rankings. Ms. Gorman earned her J.D. from John Marshall Law School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Marquette University.
