USPTO Postpones Fast-Track Examinations and Satellite Office

On Friday, April 22, 2011, USPTO Director David Kappos announced the "Track One" expedited patent examination program, which was to go into effect May 4, 2011, and plans to open a satellite patent and trademark office in Detroit, have been indefinitely postponed.
