Marshall, Gerstein & Borun Announces New Associates and Current Professionals' Achievements

Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP, an intellectual property law firm, has added two new associates and also recognized the success of its current law professional.
The Firm is pleased to welcome its new associates, Laurence B. (“Larry”) Dietrick and Lance Shaner, Ph.D., and acknowledges the achievements of patent agent Michael A. Chinlund, who has received his law degree and passed the Illinois Bar.
Larry Dietrick graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law after completing an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering at the same university. Dietrick joins the patent prosecution practice area in the electrical engineering field.
Lance Shaner, PhD. graduated from the University of Houston Law School and joins the Marshall, Gerstein & Borun biotechnology practice group. Prior to law school, Shaner earned his Ph.D. in microbiology and molecular genetics from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
One former patent agent has received his law degree and passed the Illinois Bar. Michael A. Chinlund received his J.D. from the Northern Illinois University College of Law and a B.S. in aeronautical engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy. Chinlund focuses on aerospace, aircraft and navigation engineering patent prosecution.
