Biography

Nicholas A. Fairman has been associated with Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP as an intellectual property paralegal since 2006, specializing in U.S. and international patent prosecution. Mr. Fairman’s experience includes filing U.S., PCT, and foreign applications; organizing prior art for disclosure; reviewing patent term adjustment calculations; managing the legalization of formal documents; meeting filing requirements set by foreign jurisdictions worldwide; and assisting clients with the management of intellectual property data through client-specific Extranets.

Background and Credentials

Mr. Fairman holds a B.S. in psychology from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. He also received his paralegal certificate, with honors, from the ABA-approved Lawyers Assistant program at Roosevelt University.
