What You Need To Know About Patenting Chemical Inventions: Subject Matter Eligibility, Obviousness Requirement, and Regulatory Updates

Partner Shelley Danek Ph.D. will present, “Patenting Chemical Inventions” at the 2015 American Chemical Society National Meeting, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on March 25, 2015, at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, CO. She will cover “Patent Eligible Subject Matter in the Chemical Arts,” an update on the recently issued guidelines that significantly restrict subject matter eligibility for chemical inventions, and provide strategies to navigate these new guidelines.
