Slava Elkin is a technical specialist at Marshall, Gerstein & Borun.  He is involved in patent prosecution with particular emphasis in the mechanical industry.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Elkin served as Senior Software Engineer at Motorola, Inc. in the Networks Sector where he designed and developed software for wireless communication systems, developed the method of quick switching service restoration, and performed real-time multithreaded programming in various platforms.  Mr. Elkin also served as a Senior Staff Engineer in the Mobile Devices Sector where he developed software to support cellular technologies and specialized features.

Mr. Elkin received his M.A in English from Northeastern Illinois University in 2003.  He also holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois.
