Patent Agent

Jeanne M. Brashear is a patent agent involved in all areas of foreign and domestic patent prosecution, with a special focus on biotechnology-related issues.  Ms. Brashear has handled a wide variety of biotechnology disciplines, including:

  • Gene therapy, recombinant DNA, protein, and antibody technologies
  • Angiogenesis and anti-angiogenesis technologies and circulatory disorders
  • Growth factors
  • Diagnostics and pharmaceuticals
  • Therapeutics and physiological treatment of disease
  • Food and beverage formulations

Prior to joining Marshall, Gerstein & Borun, she served as a product specialist at Abbott Laboratories.

Ms. Brashear received her B.S. in Medical Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2000.
