Elliot C. Mendelson's practice focuses on intellectual property litigation with also significant experience in counseling, opinions and due diligence.

Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Mendelson was an associate at Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz LLP. While there, Dr. Mendelson played a significant role in the notable litigation cases of Pfizer v. Ranbaxy (lipitor) and Bayer v. Housey.
Dr. Mendelson received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. While attending law school, he worked full-time as a Law Clerk/Patent Agent at Howrey & Simon.
Dr. Mendelson received his B.S. in Biology from S.U.N.Y at Binghamton. He went on to receive his Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Virginia, where his research focused on mechanisms of viral assembly.
Following his doctorate at the University of Virginia, Dr. Mendelson went on to two postdoctoral positions; first as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Purdue University Cancer Center and then as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He has also worked as a Clinical Research Specialist drafting Investigational New Drug Applications (INDs) for the Regulatory Affairs Branch of the National Cancer Institute.
