Mr. Schwarz earned his J.D. from Washington University School of Law.  At Washington University, he received the CALI Award for Excellence for Highest Grade in International IP Seminar.  Among his legal studies, Mr. Schwarz served as the Intellectual Property Law Society Treasurer for a one-year term.  

Prior to law school, Mr. Schwarz worked for several years as an embedded software engineer for The Boeing Company in Long Beach, California, where he gained extensive experience in avionics software development and testing for military aircraft.

He obtained his M.S.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, where his graduate work focused on signal processing, image processing and communications.  He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering, summa cum laude and minor in Mathematics from Tulane University.  While attending Tulane, Mr. Schwarz served as an undergraduate researcher at the Louisiana State University Eye Research Center developing computerized medical devices and instruments.
