Maya Yusim assists in prosecuting patents for clients as a technical specialist in various industries, primarily related to electrical and software engineering. As a former senior electrical engineer at Northrop Grumman, Ms. Yusim brings extensive experience building sophisticated communications systems for military applications.

Background and Credentials
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Yusim served as a senior electrical engineer at Northrop Grumman, where she designed and implemented communication systems for airborne radar applications. Most recently, as proprietor of an independent retail business, Ms. Yusim developed highly technical tools to quantify and analyze the success of the organization.
Ms. Yusim earned her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Serving as a research assistant at the University of Illinois’s Center for Computational Electromagnetics, she developed software for calculation and display of electromagnetic scattering patterns, as well as antenna radiation fields for a variety of antenna configurations.

- “Applications of Virtual Modeling to the Development of a 39 GHz Transceiver on Multilayer Multi Chip Assembly (MCA) Substrate,” Co-authored a paper presented at the Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits (RFIC) Symposium in 2000.
