He received his undergraduate degree in biological sciences from Northwestern University in 1998. He graduated cum laude from Northwestern University School of Law in 2002 where he served as the executive editor of the Northwestern University Law Review and was a quarter-finalist in the Julius H. Miner Moot Court Competition.  His Law Review comment, “Louisiana’s Blanket Primary After California Democratic Party v. Jones,” is published at 96 Nw. U. L. Rev. 721 (2002).

Mr. Labbé is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and before the following federal courts: U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.  Mr. Labbé has also been admitted to practice pro hac vice on numerous occasions in other federal courts including the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
