As a patent agent, Dr. Plummer skillfully handles patent prosecution as part of the chemical and biotechnology practice groups. 

Prior to joining Marshall, Gerstein and Borun, she gained experience as a scientific researcher at a major biotechnology company, where she directed all project activities toward discovery and validation of novel drug targets for oncology indications. 

Dr. Plummer earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry and Chemical Biology from Harvard University.  She also holds a B.S. in Chemistry (with high distinction) and a B.S. in Mathematics, magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota. 

During her studies, she earned a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship and the Beckman Scholars Award for Research in Chemistry and Biological Sciences.
