Prior to law school, Mr. Stanton gained valuable technical know-how working as an engineer designing analog circuits, digital circuits, and software, for wireless communications systems and televisions. 

He obtained his M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where his graduate work focused on signal processing, image processing and communications.  He received his B.S. in electrical engineering, with highest honors, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
