Pamela Cox, Chair of Marshall Gerstein’s IP Transactions practice group, was a panelist at the 2017 Global Technology Impact Forum (GTIF) hosted by the Institut National de la Propriété Industrielle (INPI) in conjunction with World IP Day.

“Practical Implications of Socially-Responsible Licensing for Agreement Drafting”

Ms. Cox joined Gary Keller, CEO of Xomix, Magali Poinot, Advisor to the Executive Director at Innovative Medicines Initiative, and Julie Hutson, Legal Counsel at The Wellcome Trust, in a panel discussion, moderated by Julie Barnes-Weise, Executive Director of GHIAA, and contract drafting workshop focusing on the practical implications of global access and policy matters discussed at GTIF.

GTIF is a platform to discuss how IP and tech transfer are consistent with positive social and humanitarian endeavors across many sectors, including medicine, agriculture, energy, entrepreneurship, and start-ups.
