James Griffith, Featured Speaker at Copyright Registration Worksop
On Thursday, January 12, 2018, Special Counsel James E. Griffith served as a featured speaker during a copyright registration workshop at the Leroy Neiman Center in Chicago, IL. Mr. Griffith provided an overview of the application process for registering copyrights in photographic image collections, including the recent changes to those procedures. As part of his presentation, Mr. Griffith demonstrated the new process through which applications for group applications for photography are filed with the U.S. Copyright Office. Mr. Griffith was joined by Alain Villeneuve of Duane Morris LLP.
