Gabriel T. Borcean, a technical specialist at Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP, assists in prosecuting patents for clients in a variety of industries specifically related to electrical and software engineering. Mr. Borcean has a background in high performance computing and software development.
Background and Credentials
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Borcean held a developmental role at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications working with a team of systems engineers to implement containerization in an HPC environment. In addition, Mr. Borcean researched data processing strategies for streaming application logging and I/O analysis on the Blue Waters system.
Mr. Borcean's additional experience includes working as a public health technician in the United States Air Force conducting pre-deployment and post-deployment surveillance interviews, preventive health assessments, and electronic medical records maintenance.
Mr. Borcean received his B.S. in computer science from Loyola University Chicago.
