This year marks 50 years of Lambda Legal and Marshall Gerstein praises Lambda Legal for making our nation a more equal and just place for LGBTQ+ people and everyone living with HIV. Marshall Gerstein Partner Robert Gerstein, Associate Izabella Higson, Patent Agent Alden Voelker, Ph.D., and Technical Specialist Michael Silver, Ph.D. will be in attendance.
Founded in 1973, Lambda Legal is the oldest and largest national legal organization whose mission is to achieve full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and those with HIV through education, public policy work, and impact litigation. The Bon Foster event is Lambda Legal's annual fundraiser for its Midwest office. It celebrates the annual accomplishments of Lambda Legal and the life of Robert “Bon” Foster, an openly gay attorney in Chicago who left a bequest to the organization.
