Donald W. Rupert Recognized in Leading Lawyers Magazine – Business Edition

Leading Lawyers magazine’s 2012 Business Edition features partner Donald W. Rupert in an article entitled “Balancing IP Clients’ Products, Resources, and Goals.” Mr. Rupert is a member of the Leading Lawyers Network, a community of top lawyers selected for membership based on peer nominations and approval by the Network’s Advisory Board.

With more than 36 years of experience, Mr. Rupert has handled over 100 intellectual property litigation matters in the chemical, consumer products, heavy equipment, pharmaceutical and computer industries. He has been lead trial counsel in jury and bench trials and arbitrations, in the U.S. and internationally, and lead appellate counsel in IP appeals. He has also acted as lead IP attorney in commercial transactions having a cumulative value of over $15 billion. He is a member of the Commercial Panel of the American Arbitration Association and acts as an arbitrator of intellectual property disputes.

In addition to recognition as a Leading Lawyer, Mr. Rupert’s skills have been acknowledged by Martindale-Hubbell® (AV rating Preeminent for 25 consecutive years), Best Lawyers in America and The Legal 500. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Washburn University School of Law, where he served on the board of editors for the Washburn Law Journal and remains actively involved. Prior to entering law school, Mr. Rupert served in the U.S. Air Force as a research scientist and intelligence officer. Mr. Rupert earned his B.S. in chemistry from Miami University.
