Maureen Beacom Gorman Elected To Women’s Bar Foundation Board

Maureen Beacom Gorman has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Women’s Bar Foundation, a Chicago-based organization providing scholarships, awards and other financial aid to deserving and qualified women to study law.

Ms. Gorman will serve as a director for the 2011–2012 term, and comments, “I am excited to be part of creating opportunities in the legal profession for women. My goal is to help the Women’s Bar Foundation meet its important mission of enabling Illinois women to study law.”

Maureen Beacom Gorman works directly with clients to prosecute, secure and enforce their copyrights and trademarks. Ms. Gorman offers a balanced perspective to her legal counsel, including a comprehensive understanding of the idiosyncrasies in trademark law to better assist clients in trademark prosecution, enforcement, litigation, and licensing in the United States and internationally.
