Sharon Sintich to Present at PLI’s Advanced Patent Prosecution Workshop 2016

Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP partner Sharon M. Sintich, Ph.D. will be a faculty member for Practising Law Institute (PLI)’s 2016 Patent Prosecution Workshop, held September 14–15, 2016, at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center. Dr. Sintich will speak on Wednesday, September 14 at 11:30 a.m. CT, during the “Advanced Claim Drafting Issues” session. This session will include a review of advanced claim drafting issues specific to each technology discipline represented on the panel, and focus on improving claim language and drafting techniques. Dr. Sintich will focus on claim drafting for biotechnology inventions.

Dr. Sintich combines experience in all aspects of patent prosecution with technical insight gained from her graduate research in tumor cell biology at Northwestern University. She also counsels clients in portfolio management and provides opinions on patent validity, patent enforceability, and freedom-to-operate issues. Dr. Sintich brings a committed and methodical approach to protecting clients’ innovations in biotechnology, while adding value for their businesses.
