IP Litigation partner John R. Labbé moderated a panel at the 2016 BIO International Convention held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA from June 6–9, 2016. The panel presentation, entitled “Rise of the Biosimilars: Recent Developments and Strategies for Innovators and Biosimilar Applicants for Resolving Patent Disputes under the BPCIA,” explored recent developments in the field of biosimilars, including the patent dance and litigation under the Biologics Price Competition and Innovation Act (BPCIA). The panelists discussed strategies for both reference product sponsors and biosimilar applicants. The session was held at 1:00 p.m. PT on Tuesday, June 7, and was part of the Intellectual Property track.
