Adil D. Kolovic assists in prosecuting patents for clients as a patent agent in a variety of industries specifically related to electrical and software engineering. His graduate education and background provide experience and knowledge in programming as well as a range of engineering, physics, and mathematical disciplines.
Background and Credentials
Prior to joining Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP, Mr. Kolovic worked as a financial services professional, trading a diverse portfolio of commodities including equities, interest rates, agricultural, and energy products. He utilized his proficiencies in risk management, quantitative analysis, mathematics, statistics, and programming to help optimize proprietary trading strategies and manage long-term options positions worth millions of dollars.
Mr. Kolovic holds a Master’s of Science degree in engineering sciences and applied mathematics from Northwestern University and a B.S., dual major, in mathematics and physics from Elmhurst College. During graduate school, he was a starter for the Northwestern University wrestling team, which finished 13th in the country. Mr. Kolovic is currently in his second year at Chicago-Kent College of Law with an expected graduation date of 2020. He was on the Dean's List his first two semesters of law school.
