Pamela Cox Nominated for 2019 LMG Life Sciences Award: Patent Strategy & Management Attorney of the Year – Midwest

Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP is pleased to announce that for the second year in a row, Pamela Cox, partner and chair of the firm’s IP Transactions practice, is nominated for the “Patent Strategy & Management Attorney of the Year – Midwest” Award by LMG Life Sciences.

Pamela Cox is recognized as one of the country’s leading licensing authorities, particularly in life sciences. Her practice focuses on intellectual property transactions, IP strategies and dispute resolution for clients ranging from multinational corporations to non-profit institutions. Committed to advancing the profession, this year Ms. Cox co-founded the Women in Licensing Alliance (WILA), an organization dedicated to advancing the growth of women in leadership through education, mentoring and networking opportunities. WILA is a part of the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI), in which Ms. Cox is Vice President. Immediate Past President & Chair, Ms. Cox continues to serve on the Board of Governors for the Certified Licensing Professionals. Ms. Cox is an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and serves in a variety of leadership roles within the firm. 

Marshall Gerstein alum Li-Hsien “Lily” Rin-Laures, Managing Partner, RinLaures LLC, has also been nominated in that category.

The LMG Life Sciences Award nominations are based on research and submissions undertaken by the editors of Euromoney’s 2019 LMG Life Sciences guide. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the Essex Hotel in New York City during the seventh annual LMG Life Sciences Awards.
