CLE Presentation on Legal Developments under European Intellectual Property Law

Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP will host a seminar on legal developments in European intellectual property law, including the implications of Edwards Lifesciences AG v. Cook Biotech Incorporated on priority claims, in a CLE-eligible luncheon presentation on Thursday, May 24, 2012. The discussion will be led by Graham Burnett-Hall of Marks & Clerk Solicitors.

Mr. Burnett-Hall advises on all aspects of European intellectual property law. His work focuses primarily on litigation and dispute resolution, with particular emphasis on patent litigation in areas with high scientific or technical content. He has acted in infringement and validity disputes across a range of fields including chemical, biotechnology, medical and electronics. Mr. Burnett-Hall was one of the solicitors who argued the Cook case. He frequently acts in multi-jurisdictional disputes, coordinating and working with legal teams in Europe and the United States. Mr. Burnett-Hall is a member of the Law Society, the Licensing Executives Society and the Royal Society of Chemistry.
