Application Preparation” – March 4, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST

Listing the wrong inventors name on patent application paperwork is not just a clerical error. It can create headaches for both you and your client if you get it wrong. As we move deeper into 2026, the line between human conception and machine-generated output has blurred, only adding to the issues that already existed in determining inventorship. This course will cover basic inventorship principles, in addition to discussing updates, including USPTO’s November 2025 Revised Guidance recent case law such as Coda v. Goodyear, to teach you how to determine inventorship for your patent application.
