Established in 2018, the Chicago Women in STEM initiative was founded to develop a robust Chicago STEM community and increase gender equality, diversity, and inclusion. Joining as a sponsor for the organization’s annual, week-long symposium, Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP is pleased to celebrate International Women’s Day with local students and professionals who are passionate about promoting the advancement of women in STEM.

Highlights expected throughout the symposium include:

  • Interactive workshops, panels, and a keynote presentation from Dominique Carter, Ph.D., science diplomat, entrepreneur, and agricultural science advisor for the United States Department of Agriculture.
  • Virtual networking and professional development among early career women, volunteers, speakers, facilitators, and local female role models from academia and industry.
