Marshall Gerstein Sponsors BLSA’s 44th Annual Alden J. “Butch” Carpenter Memorial Scholarship Fund Gala

Marshall Gerstein is proud to sponsor the University of Michigan Black Law Students Association's (BLSA) 44th annual Alden J. "Butch" Carpenter Memorial Scholarship Fund Gala.

The scholarship fund – named in memory of Carpenter, a former University of Michigan Law School student who advocated for the urban community – is awarded each year to three first-year BLSA members. Scholarship recipients are selected for their demonstrated commitment to community development. Last year, the scholarship fund awarded $60,000 to students.

The event will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at the university's Michigan League Ballroom, located at 911 N. University Avenue, Second Floor, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. A reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. EDT, followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. EDT
