Partner Ryan Schermerhorn and Associate Brian Raddatz, members of Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP’s Cleantech & Renewables Industry Group will be attending CLEANPOWER 2024 in Minneapolis, MN from May 6-9, 2024. CLEANPOWER, hosted by the American Clean Power Association, brings together policymakers, experts, and corporate leaders within the industries of wind, solar, storage, hydrogen, and transmission.
Ryan is experienced in preparing and prosecuting domestic and foreign patent applications in mechanical, electrical, medical, e-commerce, and business method arts. He has counseled clients on patentability, freedom to operate and patent invalidity and has reviewed and interpreted licensing and joint research agreements.
Brian drafts and prosecutes patent applications and assists clients with developing and implementing patent portfolio strategies. He also assists clients with patent invalidity investigations and freedom to operate opinions. Brian works in a wide variety of technical fields including additive manufacturing, industrial equipment, aerospace systems, and personal goods.
As thought leaders, Ryan and Brian regularly provide insights on cleantech related issues including trends in cleantech innovation, nuclear fissile waste, wind power, and the USPTO’s Climate Mitigation Pilot Program.
