IP Transactions Practice Chair, Pamela Cox, will join a panel of experts in licensing to share learning regarding “Licensing Terms I Regret,” an upcoming CLP webinar. The speakers will share practical strategies for addressing uncertainty and ambiguity in license agreements, negotiating clearer terms, and strengthening licensing practices and agreement templates.

Pam has held the Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) credential since the organization was formed and served as President in 2018 following years on the Board. Marshall Gerstein's longstanding commitment to this credential includes Special Counsel Julie Watson, who is currently the Past President and also served on the Board for 5 years. Both Pam and Julie are frequent contributors to CLP programming and thought leadership, including their 2025 panel presentation, “Unlocking Success: Paths in Licensing & Business Development.”

 Pam Cox’s practice focuses on unraveling complex deal structures and devising creative agreement solutions as well as IP protection strategies and alternative dispute resolution for clients ranging from multinational corporations to non-profit institutions. President Elect to the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI), Pam has spent years advancing the licensing professional development. Often an invited speaker at AUTM and other professional organizations, Pam also teaches IP Licensing at the Pritzker School of Law at Northwestern.
