September 5, 2024 | Partner Tiffany Gehrke to Speak at WIPR Trademarks North America 2024

Partner Tiffany Gehrke will be moderating two sessions during the WIPR Trademarks North America conference in San Diego on September 5, 2024. The WIPR Trademarks conference provides a platform to discuss legislative and regulatory developments impacting owners, learn from industry experts on the tactics that they have implemented to navigate uncertain times, and provide insight into the latest and most ground-breaking strategies that brands are using to protect themselves from infringement.

The first program, titled “Bridging the Gap: Enhancing the Trademark Attorney and Business Lead Relationship,” will focus on understanding the respective roles and priorities of corporate trademark counsel and commercial lead, educating business teams on trademark law constraints and opportunities, and developing collaborative strategies to achieve brand-building objectives. Tiffany will be joined by Peter Steckelman, Senior Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs with the Tennis Channel, Tish Berard, Trademarks Senior Counsel at Velcro Companies, and Paul Liu, General Counsel at PocketFabric.

Tiffany will also be leading a “Best Practice in Trademark Licensing” discussion with Phillip Greene, Trademark and Internet Law Counsel for the U.S. Marine Corps, and Terria Jenkins, Senior Counsel at Bond Schoeneck. The session will cover how to maintain quality control and brand integrity and what to include in licensing agreements.
