Sharon Sintich to Present at PLI’s Advanced Patent Prosecution Workshop 2017

Partner Sharon M. Sintich, Ph.D. will be a faculty member for Practising Law Institute (PLI)’s 2017 Advanced Patent Prosecution Workshop discussing claim drafting issues in Biotechnology. Dr. Sintich will discuss methods for maximizing patent protection through drafting composition claims, claims to screening methods, methods of treatment, and methods of preparation. Dr. Sintich will also discuss claiming strategies for protecting nucleic acids (such as antisense and siRNA), proteins, antibodies, nucleic acid vectors, and transgenic organisms, while satisfying the written description and enablement requirements, and addressing potential subject matter eligibility issues.
