“Should You Get on the Patent Prosecution Highway?”

In an article published by Law360, Marshall Gerstein partner and patent attorney Jeremy Kriegel discusses how patent applicants can weigh weather the Patent Prosecution Highway is the right vehicle for accelerating the examination of their U.S. applications that have been allowed elsewhere.

Kriegel advises readers, “While the PPH program seems an attractive route, applicants and their counsel may want to tell their USPTO navigation systems not to ignore toll roads, and instead consider alternative procedures for requesting accelerated examination, such as a request for prioritized examination.”
