“Subduing the Troll”

Partner Matthew C. Nielsen has authored an article entitled "Subduing the troll," published in the March 2013 edition of Intellectual Property Magazine, in which he explores strategies and cost-savings approaches in U.S. patent litigation against non-practicing entities.

Mr. Nielsen has successfully litigated several high-stakes patent cases, including in jury and bench trials and in appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He also counsels clients on strategically protecting their IP and positioning their products and services to avoid the IP rights of others.
