Biography
Krista joined Marshall Gerstein as a Law Clerk in 2023 while in law school, and after graduation joined us full time as an Associate supporting the firm's Trademarks Practice Group. Krista has experience with trademark litigation, prosecution, and counseling. She has handled anti-counterfeiting litigation, negotiated settlements, and resolved matters in federal court and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Background and Credentials
Prior to joining Marshall Gerstein Krista was a Law Clerk for Chicago-area law firms. During her most recent Law Clerk experience, Krista handled matters relating to trade dress infringement, counterfeiting claims, and UDRP complaints.
Krista received her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in May 2023. During law school she was a member of the Civil Law Mock Trial Team and was a Teaching Assistant for the Professional Identity Formation. She also served as the Marketing & Coordination Editor for the Journal of Regulatory Compliance and was a member of the Women's Law Society and Justinian Society.
Krista received her B.S. in Marketing and Business Process Management, with high honors, from the University of Illinois-Urbana, Champaign.
