September 15, 2022 | DePaul University College of Law Welcomes Jonathan Hughley for Guest Lecture
Partner Jonathan Hughley will co-lead a session of DePaul University College of Law’s Prepare to Practice course for first-year law students on Thursday, September 15. Jonathan will be joined by Tiffany Farber Leporini, assistant director of career services at DePaul University College of Law, for a discussion on diversity, equity, and inclusion as part of the legal hiring and interviewing process. The discussion will include considerations for effectively addressing implicit and explicit bias in the legal industry.
In addition to his client-focused work at Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP, Jonathan serves on the firm’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, Finance Committee, and Recruiting Committee. He was also recently selected to participate in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellowship Program, which provides diverse, high-potential, mid-career attorneys with professional development opportunities, leadership training, relationship-building opportunities, and networking access. Jonathan will share insight from these experiences and others gained throughout his career to help DePaul University’s law students build a strong foundation to start and advance their future legal practice.
