COVID-19 Resiliency
Marshall Gerstein recognizes the increasing disruptions, anxiety, and suffering caused by COVID-19. Our deepest sympathy and thoughts of peace and courage go out to all who have been personally affected around the world.
Our firm monitors information released by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Department of State and local health authorities. The firm is committed to observing best practices to protect the health of our employees and to ensure uninterrupted service to our clients.
Uninterrupted Service
All attorneys, agents, technical specialists, and staff are equipped to work from anywhere with an internet connection. All of our internal systems and files can be accessed through a heavily secured virtual private network. This remote access includes our paperless, electronic file system and all research and filing tools. Marshall Gerstein maintains a state-of-the-art, cyber-resilient IT infrastructure which is maintained 24/7 by our IT professionals.
Additionally, every department in the firm has a redundancy plan to ensure business continuity and client service. Beyond telework, we have also planned outsourced backup for essential administrative services, should the need arise.
Updated Travel Policies
Based on the CDC’s current recommendations and other information available to the firm, the firm has suspended all non-essential business travel until further notice.
Business As Usual
In short, we would like to assure you that our firm will provide uninterrupted service to our clients while we all work through the challenges presented by COVID-19. Although some of our in-person interactions may be less frequent for now, we look forward to future video calls, elbow bumps and, eventually, handshakes and lunches.
Please contact us with any questions in the interim. As always, we are here for you.
