Pamela Cox concentrates on counseling related to intellectual property transactions, protection, and transfer for clients ranging from multinational corporations to non-profit institutions. As a patent attorney who has managed intellectual property portfolios in-house, she understands her clients’ intellectual property and agreement needs, and remains passionately engaged until their strategic objectives are achieved. In addition to serving Vice President of the Licensing Executives Society International, on the Board of Governors for the Certified Licensing Professionals (CLP), and a Board Member of the University Club of Chicago, Pamela is active in supporting the profession, including as a co-founder of the Women in Licensing Alliance (WILA) and as an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University Pritzker Law School.
Heather Kissling draws from 20 years of experience securing biotechnology patents to develop worldwide filing and prosecution strategies that further her clients’ business objectives. Heather actively collaborates with in-house counsel, bench scientists, and business development personnel to maximize protection of biotechnology innovations in a broad range of technologies, including biopharmaceuticals, personalized medicine, genetically engineered plants, and industrial biotechnology. She serves on the firm’s professional development committee and the board of directors of the Chicago chapter of Women In Bio.
