Julianne Hartzell Speaks at PLI’s Patent Litigation Conference

Julianne Hartzell spoke at the Practicing Law Institute’s (PLI) Patent Litigation 2009 seminar on Friday, October 16, at the University of Chicago – Gleacher Center. Ms. Hartzell presented the “Ethical Issues in Patent Litigation” session discussing the bounds of zealous advocacy, the Medtronic cases, lawyer sanctions in Qualcomm, inequitable conduct, and Rule 11 issues.

This year’s PLI Patent Litigation program provided two full days of continuing legal education on patent topics, with presentations by judges, corporate counsel, and leading practitioners in the patent bar.
