Marshall Gerstein Welcomes Associate John Mariane to its Electrical & Computer Technologies Practice Group
Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP is pleased to welcome John Mariane as an associate in the Electrical & Computer Technologies practice group. His practice focuses on helping clients protect their intellectual property, particularly complex electrical inventions, and emerging technologies.
John’s experience includes trademark and patent prosecution, portfolio management, business entity formation, drafting licensing agreements, freedom-to-operate opinions, asset purchases, and employment contracts. He has litigated and settled non-compete cases and contract disputes, as well as negotiated and drafted transactional agreements in various intellectual property matters.
John received his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and his B.A. from Loyola University. He is working on a M.S. in Computer Science at DePaul University.
